971. Ice creeper, anti-slip device that attaches to the back of the shoe, as seen below the hinge allows the spikes to be rotated upwards so they can be worn indoors.












972. Snow knocker, carriage driver's tool for removing snow and ice from a horse's hoof.














973. Blacksmith's cone anvil, for making rings and other round objects.

974. A device for counting chicken eggs














975. Pill roller, used in an apothecary shop, the ingredient mixture is placed on the corrugated surface and the top piece is rolled over it to make cylindrical shapes, which are then cut into tablets.

976a. Both of these tools were marked "gunstock float", a float is a coarse single-cut file with the serrations at a low angle. They are used for "checkering," cutting the hatched patterns meant both for decoration and for improving grip on polished wooden rifle and shotgun stocks.
